Recruiting SLAs

I recently came across a post from a recruiter who was recently laid off. He seemed really frustrated with the application and interview processes for the companies he was applying to. Things didn’t seem to be moving in a timely fashion.

He mentioned how he was going to implement a new SLA for candidates in the process at his next company. 🤔

❓Shouldn’t recruiters implement SLAs for every position they work on?

I’ll answer my own question. Yes!

SLAs should be set during the intake meeting. The hiring manager and recruiter should come to an agreement on SLAs for resume feedback, interview feedback, hiring decision, etc.

Recruiting is a partnership between the hiring manager and recruiter. It’s an agreement that both parties will meet certain expectations to provide a good candidate experience.

And guess what else it does? Decreases the time to hire.

SLAs need to be put in place all the time 💯

Hiring Managers, if you do not have SLAs with your current recruiter, please reach out. We will decrease the time to hire for you.
