Resume Writing

⏱️6 - 7 seconds. That is the average time a company reviews your resume.

So, you better make it stand out. How?

There are countless resume best practices, but here are a few you can easily implement.

💡Use bullet points to make it easy to read

💡List what you accomplished and the impact it made for each bullet point

💡If you are technical, list the tech stack used under the last bullet point for each job

💡4-6 impactful bullet points is usually enough (depends on how long you were with a company)

💡I always recommend a simple format. The reader should read it top to bottom and left to right. Pictures, colors, unique formats, etc can be distracting.

💡Refer to the must have skills needed in the job description and craft resume accordingly
